Drink water. A simple thing you can do is to drink water right as you wake up. Drinking a glass of water will help cleanse your body and hydrate you after a night of sleep. In case you can’t make it a habit, it’s okay. Drinking water while you wait for your tea or coffee to get ready is a simple hack which can easily be incorporated into a morning routine.

Light stretches. Start your day by easing your muscles of any tension and get the blood flowing. Simple stretching exercises made into a routine will help you feel energised as you wake up and boost your mood due to the endorphins released into your system!

Wash your face. Right before you brush or after, give your face a little rinse. By doing so, you’ll clean your skin and refresh yourself. Any laziness you may be feeling will be gone and you’ll feel ready to attack the day!

Meditate. Just take out 5 minutes from your morning to meditate and spend some time in silence. It will relax your body, balance your mind and give you a chance to let go of any stress or morning anxiety.
